I am guessing the fire covering Susanville is from the forest fire outside of Quincy, or maybe the fires in Tehama County. Where ever it's coming from, I hate having it hang around!

You have some really nice haze effects in your photos, I like them!
My heart goes out to you. We had been inundated with smoke from the fires in Northern Oregon a couple of weeks ago and know first hand what you are going through. Most unfortunate.
