This weekend we visited the city park in Mt. Shasta. The Sacramento River Headwaters are located in the park. Some state and city officials disagree whether the headwaters is the official start of the Sacramento River. Either way, its a great park to visit. The water is FULL of leeches. They were everywhere on the rocks. Yuck.

These are awesome pictures. I just got a new camera and am trying to figure out when and how to use all the settings. Hopefully, it won't take me forever and I can do something as nice as yours!
Thanks Neva. I was having a hard time taking photos. There were snow flurries and my little ones were with me and not wanting to wait.
California, WOW - never been, but would love to go!!! I really like your pics too. My brother just sent me a digital camera for my birthday & I can't wait to get out & use it!!! Also, thank you for the comments on my page!
