I noticed that you left out a key ingredient in your skunk treatment of your puppy; according to Gina Spadafori, author of "Dogs for Dummies", the recipe is as follows:
one quart of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, 1/4th cup of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)and one teaspoon of liquid soap, such as Ivory. It works! I've tried it on my dog. Best, Chuck
Thanks Chuck! I will have to try that. The dogs face, around his eyes, still has the skunk smell. Its not strong, but still very noticeable. I will see if I can wash that area without getting it in his eyes. Thanks for the recipe!
